Cosmic Manipulation - Jay's body is made up of cosmic energy. He can summon and manipulate this energy as he sees fit. His ability to do so is very limited as of right now and can develop into an extreme force. He has a wide range of energies that he can tap into and an even larger potential of energies to develop.Cosmic Energy Manipulation - The cosmic energies inside of him can be gathered and produced for various affects. The most common is the energy being collected, focused, and fired as energy beams.Energy Absorption - Jay has the ability to absorb various forms of energy, either raw energy or focused for offensive capabilities.
Cosmic Element Manipulation - Jay can produce and utilize any of the cosmic elements from his cosmic energy. The elements are fire, earth, and electricity.
Fundamental Force Manipulation - At Jay's current level, this ability is very limited. Nevertheless, Jay has slight control over the four forces that govern most happenings in the world.Gravity - At this time, Jay has limited power in this area. He can manipulate gravity's effect on his being, and those around him (within a five foot radius), to give himself the ability to flyCosmic Awareness - As of right now, Jay's cosmic awareness can only affect him. He can feel when a telepath is attempting at his mind, if there is a threat towards himself nearby, and where he is at all times. If he was unconscious, it may take a while for his cosmic awareness to return to him in full.
Cosmic Physiology - Due to his mutation, Jay's body is filled with cosmic energy and at times it can overtake him completely. Realizing this, Jay is learning to master a form where his body accepts and becomes the cosmic energy that is within him.Normal/Half Cosmic Form - This is Jay's normal body. His outer appearance is still the human skin and flesh, but his insides are coated with the cosmic energy. While in this state, Jay's powers are limited. He is capable of:
- Enhanced Human Conditioning - Jay has enhanced strength, speed, agility, stamina, and endurance. Even though only his endurance and strength are at peak condition, his agility, speed and stamina are close to peak condition.
- Half-powered Cosmic Energy Beams - In his half cosmic form, Jay can only focus his raw cosmic energy (none of the elements) The beams are half of the strength that they normally would be. When the beams are used on people with normal endurance, it could knock them back, but they will be able to continue. If they are used against people with enhanced endurance, it could serve as a stopper. Providing enough force to slow that person down.
- Oxygen Independence - Jay doesn't need to breathe. He goes through the motions of doing so, so he isn't judged by others around him.
Cosmic Form - In this form, Jay's skin is replaced and he becomes a being made completely of cosmic energy. In this form, Jay's powers are at full strength (at least how much he has developted). In this form, he is capable of:
- Superhuman Conditioning - Unlike in his normal state, while in his full cosmic form, Jay is beyond human capabilities in strength, speed, agility, stamina, and endurance.
- Full Use of powers listed above
Classification: Beta
Equipment: None
Uniform: Jay's uniform is pretty standard. It is an all black suit with a large, golden X that crosses his torso. He also wears a belt with a golden X belt buckle. When in his full cosmic form, the shirt of his uniform disintigrates.
Skills:Athletic Experience - Jay has experiences playing multiple sports such as basketball, football, and soccer.
Musical Training - Jay has had five years of musical study. He knows the basics of music theory, composition, and is intermediately skilled at playing piano.
Weaknesses:Absorption - Jay has to expell energy that he absorbs almost as soon as he absorbs it. The massive amount of cosmic energy inside of him combined with any energy he absorbs could overwhelm him if he holds it too long.
Cosmic Form - At his current level, Jay can not hold his Full Cosmic form for more than five minutes. After he comes out of his Cosmic Form, he will be extremely fatigued. Trying to recontain his cosmic energy wears him out more than most fights.
Hiding his powers - At random times, areas of Jay's skin will be replaced with cosmic energy. The spots and areas that change resemble someone what his skin would while in his cosmic form.
Combat Experience - As of right now, Jay has no combat experience. The most would be reflexes from his fight or flight reactions. He doesn't have any formal hand-to-hand combat training.
Psychic Inhibitors - As a child, Jay's parent's placed multiple psychic inhibitors on him to keep his full powers dormant. When he is at a mature enough age(18), his inhibitors will be released.

Motivation, and Why: Jay agreed to come to the Xavier Institute in order to finally learn how to master his powers. Of course, that is why other students are there, but Jay feels as though it is the best way for him to adapt to society.
Loyalty: X-Institute
Physical Appearance:Jay has a rather athletic build. He stands at a height of 6'3" and weighs 215lb of lean muscle. He has brown hair that flows down a little passed his shoulders and is usually tied up in a pony tail. He has tan skin and white eyes. On his left shoulder, he has a tattoo of a crescent moon and on his right, he has a star.
His usual attire consists of a button up shirt and blue jeans. His hair ties are white. He usually wears one in his hair and the other on his right wrist. His shoes often vary from dress shoes to tennis shoes.
History:Jay was born on Feb. 14 to two telepathic mutants that decided to stay hidden away and neutral. Jay's powers began to show very early. The first glimpse of power that his parents noticed of him was as he was born. His skin didn't seem normal. It was dark with the images of stars, planets, and galaxies. At first he was silent, but as he cried, his natural flesh color began to emerge.
A few years went by without another occurence of his powers. His parents came to accept the fact soon after he was born that he would be a mutant. Their main concern was if he would be able to pass as a normal human. The good news was, if he was a telepath, like them, they could teach him at a young age how to control his powers and he would be fine. Unfortunately, this was not the case. They found out that he was not a telepath when he turned five. His skin once again changed and he began to levitate. His body began to give off a type of energy wave that neither parent could put their fingers on. When it began to get out of hand, his parent's put him unconscious and talked him through what happened when he awoke the next day. They were surprised at how well he took the news of being a mutant when they showed him that they weren't human either.
After a few weeks, Jay expressed how he wished that his powers could be blocked until he was old enough to deal with them. This brought up the idea of his parents psychically inhibiting his powers. They told him about the idea and he was all for it. They made it so that as he reached certain ages, more of his power would be available to him. Setting them to be lifted completely when he turned eighteen.
The next few years were perfect for him. Thanks to his parents, he didn't have to worry about his powers becoming too wild for him to not control. His parents guided him slowly on controlling himself, teaching him to keep calm while accessing the parts of his powers that he could at the time. He had plenty of friends in school and was able to join a few sports teams in school.
Without Jay knowing, his parents contacted Charles Xavier about their son. They heard of him and the work he's done with mutant children in controlling their powers and they wanted Jay to have that opportunity, to be able to learn with others like him. When he got home that evening, he was welcomed by his parents and the good professor sitting in the living room. His parents told him about the Xavier Institute and that they were people that could be trusted. Without a second though, Jay obeyed his parents and packed to go to the institute.
RP Sample:It had been a long day, but it didn't seem to be getting any shorter. Jay had been in the danger room for over an hour now, trying to get used to the combat portion of his powers. Why he agreed to go to the danger room, he has no idea. It started to become an instant regret of his.
As he panted and tried to regain his strength, the machines in the danger room reloaded and prepared themselves for another round. As they all moved to target him, Jay sucked his teeth and stood tall, his skin becoming a pitch black and showing stars, planets, and galaxies. This was Jay's trump card, his last resort... "Alright... Let's get this party started."
The machines opened fire. Almost instantly, Galaxy lifted into the air and was moving at blinding speeds. Evading the projectiles fired at him almost too easily. As he dodged, he started to fire beams out of his palms, making contact with a few of the machines, though his aim needed a bit of work. He could feel beams digging into his back. He turned to fire at those machines, but as soon as he did, the sensation came again.
Before he knew it, he was being overwhelmed by the machines' blasts and he was down. He awoke in the medical wing, recovering from his overwork. He sat up and looked around, seeing noone there. He then looked at his hands and sighed. "Damn... I failed again."
