Codename n/a
Nicknames: Sandy, Bāgha Rānī (Bah-g Rah-ni), 'Eldest Stone'
Gender: Female
Age: 36, physically 25
D.O.B. December 29
Species: Homo Superior

Occupation: Entrepreneur, Animal Behaviorist, Dog Walker, Pet Sitter
Canon or Original: Original
Mutations:
Tactile Genetic Absorption- Sandra can generate copies of a creature or individual’s genetic sequence by touch and store them for later use. The process of absorbing the DNA requires physical contact. The subject will only feel a slight tingling sensation during the transfer; however, for Sandra the process causes a slight chemical burn at the point of contact which does not fade away for at least a day.
Shape Shifting: Genetic Mimicry- Sandra can use the genetic sequences that she has stored in order to rewrite her cellular structure into a copy of the chosen genetic sequence. Because the change is on a genetic level, she will not be an exact copy of the individual. She will not have any of the same scars, tattoos, or other markings that would have been received during or after birth.
Healing Factor- Sandra’s shape-shifting ability works on the cellular level. If she is physically wounded in one form, her body’s cells will repair the damage when she transforms again; however, doing so takes an extra toll on her energy resources.
Pocket Dimension, Astral Connection- Sandra is connected by an astral link to a yet discovered pocket dimension. This dimension serves a storage unit. Whenever Sandra morphs into a being smaller than herself, the extra mass is extruded into this pocket dimension. Whenever she chooses a larger form, it is from here that she gets the extra mass needed for the form.
Minor Telepathy- While in the form of an animal Sandra is able to ‘speak’ into the minds of others as if she were speaking to them directly. However, she cannot manipulate them in any way and can do little more than talk.
Animal Empathy- Sandra is able to sense and understands the emotions of animals and vice versa.
Genetic Instinct- Sandra has an innate understanding of how DNA works and is able to predict the outcome of genetic combinations.
Genetic Manipulation- Sandra possesses a minimal ability to combine two genetic sequences to create a new form. Currently, the sequences must be of the same subspecies to work, she has only her instincts to guide her.
Adamant Entity- Sandra’s mental template is uniquely designed to actively fight against possession. Certain entities have infections that pass through DNA modification, as retro-viruses and other particulate life. Sandra’s mind and body are designed to be the apex predator, actively fighting against such infections and intrusions endlessly. This is not a force of will, but simply a pre-programmed, unable to be overwritten genetic response to foreign stimuli that Sandra does not actively allow.
Classification: Omega
Equipment: A drawstring backpack, disposable cellphone, change of street clothes, and cash.
Uniform: A black and grey Bodyskin which covers her body from the mid-thigh up to her chest with basic shoulder straps.
Skills: Languages- English, Hindi, and basic Spanish; Bachelors of Science in Environmental Zoology; Associate of Science in Animal Behavioral Psychology; proficient in the use of Rifles, Handguns, and bow and arrow; a valid driver's license for both an automobile and a motorcycle; Basic Computer Usage; Tracking/Hunting; Traps/Snares; Wilderness Survival; Long Distance Running; Animal Husbandry; Equestrian; Farming/Ranching.
Weaknesses:
- Chemical Burn- Whenever Sandra absorbs a new sample of DNA it causes a slight chemical burn at the point of contact which does not fade away for at least a day
- clothing- Sandra is unable to morph most clothing unless it is skin tight like a second layer of skin. This is way she wears the Bodyskin under moth of her clothes.
- Animalistic- Sandra is in constant battle with her wild, feral side. She is temperamental, territorial, and loves the thrill of the hunt.
- Hunger- Morphing takes a lot of energy, even more so when she is injured. She needs food and rest to replenish this energy.
- Memory vs. instinct- Typically, Sandra cannot turn into a creature that she has forgotten she has; however, sometimes instinct takes over and she will find herself in a form she didn't know she had.
- Genetically 'Stuck'- Sandra is essentially 'stuck' at the physical age of 25. Whenever she uses her powers and reverts back to her original form, her body goes back to this point. Should she stop using her powers, her body will age like any one else; however, the moment she uses her powers again, she's right back where she started.

Motivation, and Why: Sandra just wants to be left alone and live a normal life!
But, what is normal any more, especially for someone such as herself? Sandra struggles constantly with the nature of her inner beast. She works hard to keep her anger in check lest some poor sod ends up with their throat ripped out. Sandra hates to see injustices and often can't help but to stand up for the 'under dog'. It's 2013, how can such inequality and prejudices still exist?
Loyalty: Neutral
Physical Appearance: Sandra is a veritable statuesque woman standing at 5’11” with an athletic build. She has long blonde hair and greenish blue eyes. Although her typical style would be considered girly she doesn’t wear much in the way of jewelry or make up. She has no distinguishing marks, no tattoo, piercings, or even scars.
History:
Sandra E. Ripley was born to Robin and Jules Ripley in New Braunfels, Texas, a small tourist town just North-East of San Antonio and home to ‘Schlitterbahn Waterpark’. The family lived on her Uncle’s estate where they would help out from time to time on the ranch. Although the city wasn’t too small, animal attacks were rare but not unheard of.
Sandra’s powers first surfaced at the age of twelve while playing with the one of the farm’s dogs, a German Shepard named Oscar. She had been in the back yard with the dog while her mother, Robin, was tending to dinner in the kitchen and listening to the radio. At first she didn’t hear the commotion, but she most definitely heard her daughter’s scream. Frying pan still in hand, Robin ran outside to see Oscar lying still in the grass as two cougars fought over his body and a pile of torn clothes that her daughter had just been wearing. Robin screamed and hurled the still hot pan at what appeared to be the winning cat. The two near identical cats separated and one sprinted away for the safety of the trees.
The remaining cougar then turned on her, approaching her with a slow, limping gait. Robin backed away, screaming for her missing daughter; and then, right before her eyes, the cat’s body began to change. Fur melted into skin, paws elongated to hands and feet, and the tail shriveled away into nothing. What had once been a wounded cougar was now her injured and very naked daughter.
Uncle James and a few of his farm hands had heard the screaming and discovered the scene. While is men took care of Oscar’s corpse, Uncle James took his sister and niece inside to mend her wounds and find out what happened. Sandra was unable to relay what had happened, and despite her obvious wounds, was more concerned about her hand. Robin, in turn, described an impossible that sounded it came out of some twisted fairy tale. He could scarcely believe his sister at first, or his niece who fervently insisted that it was true. Uncle James brushed it off as some sort of terror induced hallucination until, that is, he witnessed the very agitated twelve year old girl transform for himself.
Uncle James immediately reacted on the defensive, pulling his sister away from the cougar that had replaced his niece; but, just as quickly as the cougar had appeared, its body reverted back to the crying little girl. The two adults were at a loss of what to do and so Robin decided it was best to get the girl cleaned up and help her keep calm until her husband came home from work.
That evening, Sandra hid and listened to the whispered conversation between her parents and uncle. Her father had found it difficult to believe, but his wife and brother-in-law insisted that it was true. While he wanted to see it for himself, Jules agreed that there were other more important issues they had to cover. First, the cougar attack: the three discussed the events and worked up a believable story to tell should any questions arise. The cougar had tried to attack Sandra and Oscar died trying to protect her, Robin came to scare the cougar away before it could do too much damage to her daughter. The clothes had been torn during the attack and Sandra had shed them before the farm hands arrived. Robin was terrified of what might happen if someone found out what really happened with Sandra, she didn’t want her only baby taken away from her. Jules assured her that he wasn’t going to allow that to happen and that the family took care of their own. It was then that Uncle James who suggested that they find a safe and secluded place for Sandra to practice after school.
Even the school seemed to buy the fabricated story about the cougar and for a while everything seemed to be going just fine. After Sandra was done with her homework, she was allowed to use one of the empty barns to try out her new form in secret but other problems began to arise. Sandra, who originally been a rather calm child, became increasingly temperamental. She began to act out in class and get into fights in school; but, it wasn’t she was suspended for breaking a boy’s nose that her family decided to pull her out of school completely.
From then on, Sandra was home schooled and her life became a little more stable. In the early mornings she would help out on her Uncle’s ranch and study in during the mid-day, which left her the afternoon and evening to practice her powers as she saw fit. She began to learn how to better control, (and prevent), the change and even discovered just how to transform into other creatures; but, the process was a painful one and left her palm burning as if she had “dipped it in jalapeno juice and then poured hot water on it.”
Whenever her father went into San Antonio for business, he would bring back new books on science and biology for her to study, (including a few by a man named Xavier). Sandra would devour these books in her spare time, dog-earing pages, book marking others, and even writing notes in the margins! With every question answered, a dozen more popped up in its place.
Sandra continued through high school via home schooling, learning to control – or rather, suppress – her emotional issues. In her spare time she continued to practice her ability and became increasingly interested in Animal Behavior. By the time she graduated from high school, Sandra had already been accepted to Michigan State University where she later earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Zoology with an Associate of Science in Behavioral Psychology. After graduation, she volunteered with the Centre for Wildlife Studies and joined a field study in Madhya Pradesh, India.
The expedition was only supposed to last a week, but the team failed to check in. Authorities began a search for the team and eventually discovered a most grisly scene. The camp site was in tatters and the bodies that they did find had been ravaged by scavengers and the elements. Most of the evidence pointed to an ambush by poachers, but there was something off about the scene. The campers had died from gunshot wounds, but the actual poachers appeared to have been torn apart by a tiger. A few of the campers were missing and one of them was Sandra Ripley.
Ten years later, a farmer was startled when a tall and very nude woman with white blonde hair wandered out of the jungle. The woman identified herself to the authorities as Sandra Ripley. She remembered the attack on her team, but could not recall where she had been for the past ten years.
Sandra spent the next few months in a medical facility in New Delhi under close observation until it was determined that she was fit to leave. She then reentered the United States and reunited with her family in Texas. Sandra learned that during the years that she had been missing her father had died of a heart attack. She initially opted to stay at the ranch and help out; however, a few months in she was invited to talk about her experience on a day time talk show. They were offering a good deal of money, money that her mother and she sorely needed and so, Sandra reluctantly agreed.
She appeared on the “Hellen DeRossi Show” where she recounted what she did remember during her stint in India. When asked what someone is supposed to do should they get stranded in the middle of the jungle, Sandra answered simply and clearly. Her straightforward answers had not been what the audience had expected and most had found the segment boring; however, Sandra did gain some unexpected popularity which landed her a part-time position as an Animal Behaviorist for the Central Park Zoo. Since then, Sandra has moved to New York City where she has taken various jobs working in animal behavior for both household pets and large animals.
