|Zeta Level|A Zeta level mutant has abilities as the result of some outside force - Wolverine's skeleton and claws are the result of a grafting process, for example, rather than genes. While mutants from other classes can become Zetas, Zetas themselves have no inborn powers, and vary wildly in power and control.|Epsilon Level|Epsilons are the least fortunate of all mutants - their powers are minor to useless, and came with the price of a twisted form. Epsilons possess warped, inhuman bodies that would never pass for regular humans, and frequently are forced to flee from society with only their ironically weak powers for company.|Epsilon-Delta Level|An Epsilon-Delta mutant has roughly the same level of power as a Delta, but possesses no control over their unique abilities. They frequently and unpredictably manifest at times of stress or emergency, and given the limited scope of their powers, it rarely amounts to much.|Delta Level|Delta level mutants have the easiest time passing as ordinary humans - their powers are neither extraordinary nor incredible, and they possess a fair level of control over them. In essence, these are the 'standard' mutants and the middle of the power scale, hung between the unfortunate Epsilons and the impossible Omegas. However, don't mistake this as being equal to even a Gamma in a fight - a Delta will almost always lose to anything higher.|Gamma Level|Gamma level mutants are the first of the truly powerful mutants, but unlike the higher classes, their power has utterly crippled their life in some way. Rogue, for example, drains the life from others with a touch, and is forced to avoid all human contact in order to prevent possibly lethal accidents. While Gamma level mutants are comparable in battle to Betas or even weaker Alphas, their power has come with a far heavier price.|Beta Level|Betas are almost equal to the next higher class, the Alphas. The only snag is that they all possess some form of drawback built into their power, albeit one far less crippling than a Gamma mutant's. Probably the most famous is Cyclops or Scott Summers, whose eyes continually emit energy whether he wants them to or not - but a simple pair of special shades lets him live as a normal person. In summary, Beta powers are devastating and useful, but with some drawback that can be negotiated around with some work.|Alpha Level|Alpha mutants are second only to Omega mutants in threat. Their powers are both flexible and strong. Their control over these abilities is masterful, and unlike the lesser classes, deficiencies are rare in the extreme. Alpha level mutants make up only ten percent of the population, however, making them significantly less common than anything but the Omegas.|Omega Level|Omega level mutants are the cream of the crop, frequently with powers over fundamental forces of the universe. Whatever weaknesses they may possess are minimal in the face of the overwhelming energy they command. All Omega class mutants have stretched their powers to the absolute limit at least once, and the label may only be applied by other members of that feared class who judge the power equal to their own.
Omegas require staff permission prior to application due to power strength.
