Weight:: 223
Body Type:: Muscular/ Athletic type to help with the ruse of his current occupations.
Distinguishing Features:: None.
Physical Mutations:: Augmentation of the eyes. The Reddish color of his right eye is a reflection of his illusion abilities coupled with his power of probablity. Historically called the "Witch's Eye" or the "Evil Eye". Which aided in the name he's chosen for himself. Though like his brother, he often hides it with simple illusions.
Uniform:: None affiliated with any organization, though he's applied his personal tastes to what he considers his uniform. Inspired by the Hero, Wonderman, he takes the colors of black and red and with the new name of Warlocke, posts a W on his chest.
Personality:: Selfish and often self centered, stemming from his chidlhood as a single child whom was adopted into a rather wealthy family. Adding into the equation his abilities and he becomes something of a bully. Unlike his brother whom keeps a solitary life, Dean likes the spotlight. He likes people to know who he is and fear him. It makes it easier for him to take what he wants from others.
Family:: Kane Blake- Father, Status Unknown. Karen Blake- Mother, Status Unknown. Jude Lane- Adoptive Father, Status Deceased. Marideth Lane- Adoptive Mother, Status Deceased.
History:: Dean was an orphan, just like his brother. The difference between he and his brother is that while Derrick was bounced from one place to the next, he was kept in the lap of luxury due to the family that adopted him only wanting one child. Their effort was to seem like they weren't racist and actually cared about the problems of others. Jude was the owner of a growing business and wanted to make for a good public image by adopting a child that was not of the same skin color as himself. It made him seem more of a caring individual.
In all honesty, the Lane's could have cared less about Dean. His nanny and caretaker had seen and been by his side more often than his own adoptive parents. He was given material things to keep him complacent so that he'd never bother the Lanes. As soon as he was able, they shipped him off to private school to get him out and away from the house. His nany wrote him often, under the guise of his parents in an attempt to make the child feel loved at least to some degree, but Dean eventually saw through the deception when the Lanes didn't bother to come see him on holidays or even his birthday.
It was then that he just decided to surround himself with material possessions and keep everyone else at a distance. As far as he was concerned, all of the so called friends at the Prep schools were just as shallow as his adoptive parents and even himself. Eventually his powers matured and displayed themselves. First was the power of probablity and changing it. Akin to the Scarlet Witch. This was first displayed in a car accident that happened when the Lanes actually bothered to see him. While on an outing to try and display their adoptive child to the world so they seemed like a happy family to the outside masses, Jude lost control of the car and ended up getting into a Fatal accident. Marideth and Dean were in the car, but where Merideth was unfortunate enough to fall victim to Dean's power, Dean himself was thrown from the car moments before it had impacted with the trailer of the eighteen wheeler than had also somehow lost control.
While Dean was not in any of the wills from his adoptive parents, at the reading of Jude's will, Dean's powers were unconsciously put into use again. He wished and willed that they had at least left him something. Visualizing in a blurry manner what the will would read if it did indeed say that he was left anything at all. As the attorney and executor of the will read on, even he was surprised to see what was on the paper. Everything was left to Dean. The power of illusion had switched the words around for Dean's benefit.
Due to the age of the child, Dean would receive the money and his belongings upon his eighteenth birthday. Until then the Nanny was made to be the executor of the money and properties. Which was fine by Dean. He actually liked the Nanny. But where once a loving relationship may have formed, he grew slowly to see the Nanny as a needed evil. She was needed all up until the passing of his eighteenth birthday. Upon his Eighteenth birthday he changed his name from Lane to Warrick to distance himself from the memories of that ordeal as much as possible.
It wasn't until around his twentieth birthday that he even came into knowledge of the "Other" Dean. But by that time he had trained himself in the usage of two out of his three powers. It was a chance encounter where he learned that this other Dean, named Derrick, was actually respected among the low lifes he often hobnobbed with. This...."Exponential" was suppose to be some sort of fighter. And from what Dean saw, the being was quite good at it. But where Exponential displayed an array of powers, Dean had only the three. And only two he was comfortable with. So he took to studying this other Dean. Casting an illusion over himself so that he appeared in the guise of someone else when he watched his twin. Carefully documenting the displayed abilities of this other Dean so that when the original was ready, he could start to muscle in on what the other had. Usurping power and respect from one for himself. He'd even be gracious enough to offer an alliance of sorts. And if that didn't work, he'd simply get rid of the competition. No different than a business deal.
He had no true feelings of connection to this other Dean. For a great while he thought that Derrick had just cast an illusion over himself to take Dean's appearance up until he started doing some digging. Finding out that Derrick was from an orphanage and putting together that they were in fact twins. It was sometime after that he visited all of the places that Derrick had been known to frequent. Even going as far as to research the different orphanages that he was in so that he could find out more about him. That was when Dean learned about what Derrick studied. Through probablity Dean learned of the notes that Derrick kept when he was studying to control and manipulate his powers to emulate the array that he possessed.
For now he's content to watch. Studying his brother and searching all of his strengths and attempting to find any more weaknesses. He knew of one, but that has yet to fully be exploited. When the time comes, Dean intends to use Derrick's weakness for companionship to bend him to his will, or break his brother completely. The choice is completely up to Derrick.
Classification:: Beta
Powers::
Kinetic Generation- possessing the ability to bodily generate thermo-chemical energy and release it from his skin. This energy is used as thrust to cause his body to be propelled through the air like a rocket, at great heights and speeds with considerable maneuverability. He can control his speed and direction through sheer act of will. At first, he could only release this energy from his feet and legs, but now he can fire it from almost any part of his body, to a wide variety of effects. This energy also manifests itself as an impenetrable and virtually indestructible "blast field" that protects him from bodily harm. He can use this blast-field for the following effects: to function as a personal shield or extending it to encompass others, to shape the field around another person to imprison them, or to absorb outside kinetic impact into his own energy supply, enabling him to increase the bludgeoning power of his blows or to create explosive shock waves upon impact.
Illusions- A power he often employs to do his best to make others think that he has access to powers that he actually does not have. Giving him the appearance that he can regenerate, teleport, or some other such power he does not have. He has struggled with this power from time to time. Always having to keep his mind focused. If he starts to drift and imagine things, sometimes this power sets in and whatever he seems to be daydreaming about springs to life. Causing him to quite obviously pay attention, but if in a crowd, he may have some sort of explaining to do. Depending on the crowd. Sometimes such daydreaming can lead to trouble from the local authorities. Derrick often explains them as a malfunctioned magic trick or perhaps that the person's eyes were playing tricks on them. But his illusions are also used when he plays some of his instruments in front of someone he feels comfortable with, to add a bit of flare to the performance.
Changing probablity- The same ability that the Scarlet Witch has. From this power especially he takes the name Warlocke. This ability coupled with his other two enable him to seem as if he were casting spells of bad luck or charms for good luck for himself. This ability has consciously (Though rarely up until now) and subconsciously been used to make the outcome of things favor himself over the opposition. From business deal with errors being made in his favor, to as of late, direct application in combat.
the ability to manipulate probability via "hexes" (often manifesting physically as "hex spheres" or "hex bolts"). These hexes are relatively short range, and are limited to his line of sight. Casting a hex requires a gesture and concentration on his part, though the gestures are largely a focus for the concentration and despite this precision, the hexes are not necessarily guaranteed to work, particularly if tired or using his powers excessively. If overextended, hexes can backfire, causing probability to work against his wishes or to undo previous hexes.
Early in his training, his hexes were unconscious on his part, and would be automatically triggered whenever he made a particular gesture, regardless of his intent. These hexes would only manifest "bad luck" effects. He later gained enough control over his powers that his powers only work when he wants them to, and they are not limited to negative effects. He can use his hexes to light flammable objects, contain or remove air from a particular volume, deflect objects, stop the momentum of projectiles, open doors, explode objects, create force fields and deflect magical attacks, etc. The effects are varied but almost always detrimental to opponents.

Role Play Example::
Dean had finished watching his twin barely win a match. He wasn't sure how he managed to cast such a convincing illusion of energy blasting out of his arm, but Dean watched in the guise of a younger Jude Lane. Most in a neigborhood such as what he had brought himself this night wouldn't even know whom Jude Lane was. So that much, at the very least, was taken care of. Attentive eyes had watched all of his brother's actions and even that of his opponent's.
But as the fight had come to its conclusion Dean gave what was at first an unintentional devious grin that he soon embraced as a plan had formulated. Derrick was hurt. And Dean knew that his brother didn't have the ability to heal as he often displayed. Which meant that he wouldn't be going straight home. Not until after he was patched up. Derrick didn't want his girl to worry about him, and Dean knew this.
And so Dean made it to the apartment first. Giving the line that he had lost his keys in some sort of scuffle. She looked through the peeohole and saw it was him. Or at least that's what she thought. So she let him in. Immediately there was something off about him that she noticed. Who she thought was Derrick was looking around the place almost as if he hadn't been there before. And there was a cold nature about him.
Dean turned around and gave a wolfish grin as he approached her. He wrapped his arms around her waist with the same grin on his face. Almost immediately she noticed the difference in his eyes. When she asked him about it, it threw him off. He hadn't thought that much through. So he let her go and started stalking around the place again. And then he looked at her. An overly evil smile crept over his lips as he then moved over towards her and grabbed her by her throat with his left hand. Lifting her into the air with relative ease. He was employing his power of kinetics to choke her and raise her in the air. Mercilessly watching her gasp for breath as he started knocking things over and breaking things.
Her body started to struggle less as he'd curl his fingers into his palm and as an extention of his will, his kinetic grip on her tightened as well. The camouflaged aura around him expanded and as a result the expansion further cut off what oxygen she was getting as the aura around his palm and fingers moved to try and connect with one another. She coughed and even spit up a bit of blood before a glazed look took to her eyes and she stopped struggling all together. With a wave of his hand he cast her to the side. Her body flying and smashing into the kitchen counter and breaking some of her ribs as he had continued to break a few things. Locking the door behind him he'd simply close it and as he was walking down the stairs he'd shift into another form as someone came to check on all of the noise that was going on. Dean just smiled and walked outside. Moving behind a crowd and shifting his illusion to take the guise of someone else so he couldn't be pointed out. And then he waited for his twin to get home and see the surprise left for him.
