Basics: Lehnsherr, Magnus. Magneto.
Full Name: Erik Magnus Lehnsherr ("legal" name); Max Eisenhardt (birth name).
Codename: Magneto.
Nicknames: Many pseudonyms; Master of Magnetism; Mags (not to his face, though); prefers "Magnus" or "Magneto".
Type: Canon
Gender: Male
Species: Homo superior
Age: 86 (biologically in his fifties)
Date of Birth: December 1
Hometown: Nurnburg, Germany
Current Residence: SPACE!
Loyalty: Brotherhood ofEvil Mutants
Occupation: Lord of Genosha/terrorist mastermind
Hair Colour: Silver-grey
Eye Colour: Grey
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 190 lbs.
Body Type: Muscular.
Typical Style: Uniform.
Distinguishing Features: Despite his advanced age, Magneto looks to be in his late forties or fifties, and quite fit at that..
Physical Mutations: None.
Uniform: Magneto's current uniform is a bright-red, form-fitting suit of metallic fabric, which he designed himself, that is somewhat bullet proof and resistant to liquid and heat damage. Over it he wears an armoured body band that protects his lower abdomen and groin; this is shaded purple. He also wears a similar collar, to which his flowing cape is attached; both are light purple. He also wears gloves and calf-length boots of the same purple hue, decorated by broken bands of red near the top. Finally completing the ensemble is his infamous helmet, which is both armoured and fitted with circuitry that amplifies his mental defenses, rendering him invisible to telepathic scanning and immune to psychic attack. This means he is unable to be located by devices such as Cerebro.
Personality: Magneto, in his core, is an embittered, tired old man who has seen and caused too much suffering in his life. He is sick of the never-ending struggle to establish mutant supremacy: of the fools, the death, the disappointment. He feels deep remorse after the way he treated his children, and still carries the grief of his daughter's breakdown.
He is also deeply committed to the cause of mutant rights. His determination to protect his kind from the evils of human oppression has remained a constant throughout his life, his conviction growing as he aged. He has not always consciously cast the struggle as one for mutant supremacy, but the assumption of superiority is anchored in his subconscious, and influencing him even when he tries to reject it. Which he is not doing at the moment -- his anger at the new enforcement of the MRA has focused all the frustration and pain of the past decades, fuelling his conviction that humans are evil and that mutants must take the reins of power for themselves. The benevolent nature of the bill merely frustrates him, as he sees it as an attempt to enslave mutants while confusing them as to who their true friends are.
Magneto has a short temper, although he is more mellow now than in the past. He also has a great amount of pride, and is more apt to do things alone than ask for help, of any kind. He has the talents to back his pride up most of the time, although his stubbornness and arrogance have gotten him in over his head in the past. Another way in which he has mellowed is that, while he is not one for taking advice, he will listen to the problems and concerns of his followers. The alienation of his children was a high price to pay for the lesson of compassion, but he did learn it (even if he is still studying).

History: Max Eisenhardt was born and raised in the city of Nurnburg, Germany, just prior to the rise of Nazism. His father was a patriotic German Jew, who tried to bring his family up likewise. Life was difficult in the unstable Weimar Republic, but the Eisenhardt family was relatively happy. Max would meet a gypsy girl, Magda, at school, and as he matured he developed a crush on her. However, their relationship was not the only thing blossoming: anti-Jewish feeling was being fanned by an ascendant Nazi party, and Max experienced the bigotry not only first-hand, but also in the murder of his uncle. Finally, after Jacok was beaten while attempting to visit a former friend in the army, the Eisenhardts moved to Poland.
It was a futile move. In 1939 Poland fell. The Eisenhardts were forced into the Jewish ghetto of Warsaw, and then rounded up. Max found himself the only surviving member of his family within the horror of Auschwitz. He himself survived only because he was drafted into the Sonderkommando, a squad of Jews forced to aid their captors in the operation of the death camp. To make up for what he was doing, Max tried to smuggle supplies to other prisoners. Also, he met Magda again, who as a gypsy was also on the Nazis' extermination list. Together they managed to hold on until the Russians over-ran Poland, leading to their liberation.
He and Magda fled Poland, moving to a village in the Carpathian mountains. Max, wishing to sever all ties to his former life, found the famous forger George Odekirk, and asked him to create a new identity. Odekirk obliged, taking the name of a deceased gypsy, Erik Lehnsherr; Magneto added "Magnus" as a middle name, and under that name he lived the rest of his life. Meanwhile he married Magda and fathered a child, his first daughter Anya. Unsatisfied with rural life, he decided he could find more opportunity for his new family in the city. So he moved to Vinnytsia, in the Soviet republic of the Ukraine.
That, however, proved a mistake. On his very first day, having found work as a carpenter, he fell out with his boss. The man was trying to defraud him of his wages, and Magnus' anger caused his powers, delayed by an epsidoe fo scarlet fever, to finally manifest. He attacked his boss with a crowbar, then withdrew, confused. He returned to the inn where they were staying, only to find it in flames with his daughter trapped inside. Desperately he tried to rescue her, but he was restrained by the KGB, who had been tipped off by his boss.
He was forced to watch as the building burned and his daughter perished. Then his rage broke loose. Putting on his first display of his true powers, he massacred the KGB men, as well as the mob that had supported them, and then went on to level much of Vinnytsia. However, his fury had an unintended affect. Magda, witnessing this rage and the terrible power he wielded, fled. He would never see his beloved wife again, nor for many years would he realize that he had two more children by her.
He recovered the body of his baby, and went to bury her. Even that he was not permitted to do in peace, as Russian soldiers arrived and attempted to kill him. After suppressing them and completing his task, the distraught Magnus made his way to the new country of Israel. There he settled in the outskirts of Haifa, working at a hospital for Holocaust survivors. In the course of his work he met Charles Xavier, and the two became friends, often debating the theoretical future of mutants, although unaware of others' mutant nature. They would learn, however, as the Nazi Baron von Strucker together with his HYDRA operatives attempted to murder one of their wards and secure a hidden cache of gold. Magnus and Xavier combined forces, apparently killing Von Strucker. They had one last debate, then Magnus took the gold and disappeared.
His encounter with HYDRA convinced him that the Nazis were still the primary threat to the world, so the time being he directed his hatred into hunting them. Approaching a Western government, he became an agent for their intelligence service, tracking down Nazi war criminals and bringing them to justice. Only, instead of securing them for his ostensible handlers, he was turning them over to Israel, as he was secretly working for Mossad, the Israeli secret service. This was known to his superiors, and permitted as long as he only went after Naizs that had been optioned by the Soviet Union. However, Magneto knew no such constraints, and targeted the wrong Nazi. As a result, his handlers murdered his new romantic interest before his eyes; Magnus killed them in turn and disappeared again.
During this interim he spent much time studying technology, in order to more effectively apply his powers. He also studied genetics, seeking to understand the source of his powers. These studies would continue throughout his life, making him proficient in mechanical, cybernetic and genetic engineering.
He resurfaced in New York under the pseudonym Michael Xavier, recalling his friend from the Haifa hospital. Brooding over the increasingly perilous condition for mutants, he debated whether he should take action. He also ran into a woman named Cassandra Michaels. She constructed his first uniform for him, as he decided to join the ranks of the costumed superheroes appearing around the world. However, after saving Cassandra from a monster and finding her unappreciative, he decided that being a "hero" was not for him, and left to pursue a more effective approach to protecting mutants.
He began in space, using his magnetic abilities to capture a ferrous asteroid and bring it into synchronous orbit with the earth. Then he fashioned it into a base, christening it Asteroid M. He also began assembling a team for himself: the Brotherhood of Mutants. One of his first recruits, Astra, joined merely because she had a crush on him, and would subsequently drop out. Magneto forgot about her, and would only be reminded later by a series of unfortunate events.
Construction of Asteroid M dragged on, and recruiting was slow. Magnus -- now calling himself Magneto -- decided to visit Auschwitz, to remind himself why he was sinking so much effort into his project. There he encountered Charles Xavier again, and they once more debated the future of mutants. Only this time it was clear what Magneto meant to do, and Xavier tried to dissuade him. Magneto became angry, and departed -- his resolve strengthened. Soon thereafter he attempted to gain control of the missiles at the Cape Citadel base, only to be thwarted by Xavier's team -- the X-Men.
Well, that's what the Brotherhood was for. He completed Asteroid M and filled out the ranks of his organization. Unwittingly he recruited his own children, now full-fledged mutants, as he rescued them from a mob. Neither Quicksilver nor the Scarlet Witch would be impressed by his methods, but both remained with him for some time.
With his base and his team complete Magneto's campaign began in earnest. He seized control of the small country of Santo Marco, installing himself as dictator as the first step to building a Utopia for mutants. Once more, however, the X-Men arrived, and they unseated him and liberated the country. Frustrated, he continued to fight, focusing more on the rival team. At one point he kidnapped Angel, but that led to the X-Men assaulting Asteroid M and a major defeat for the would-be savior of mutantkind.
Nonetheless he kept at it. He tried to play various factions in an attempt to conquer the world; when that failed, he went before the United Nations, demanding a nation for mutants to claim as their homeland. At this his cruel treatment of his followers brought his downfall, as first Quicksilver and then Toad betrayed him. The latter threw him off a helicopter as they were fleeing from a compromised base, and both Brotherhood and X-Men assumed Magneto dead. Magneto, however, had other plans.
Tunneling through the ocean floor using his magnetic powers, he arrived in a lost paradise within Antarctica: the Svaage Land. He took the opportunity to experiment with his knowledge of genetics, creating the Savage Land Mutates. He seemed well on his way to establishing himself as the unquestioned lord of the south, when once again the X-Men interfered. He battled them several times, even allying with Sauron when his powers, for an unknown reason (likely overuse), began to falter. He used a machine the pterodactylanthrope had created to restore himself; nevertheless he was defeated.
After several more futile attempts to assert his rule over the world, he came across a cache of alien technology. This he employed in the construction of an artificial life-form he dubbed Alpha the Ultimate Mutant. He intended to use this "son" to assert his own primacy, but Alpha felt he did not need the Master of Magnetism. He regressed Magneto's biological age to infancy and went on his merry way. Fortunately baby Magneto came into the hands of Charles Xavier, who gave him into the keeping of Moira MacTaggart.
It was their hope that, with the proper upbringing -- and some genetic tinkering by Moira -- Magnus would grow back up into a nice person. It was a proper plan, but the best-laid plans so often go amiss: the Shi'ar known as Erik the Red restored Magnus to adulthood, and the rejuvenated Magneto promptly clashed with the X-Men and formed a new Brotherhood.
Yet it seemed that Moira's changes had an effect after all. Magneto eventually disbanded the Brotherhood; he even helped the X-Men on a few occasions, although he kept his motives ambiguous. After an encounter with Cyclops and Aleytys "Lee" Forrester in his island base, he decides to bring about nuclear disarmament -- by taking over the world. He successfully destroys a Soviet submarine, and goes on to destroy the Russian city of Varykina with a volcano.
Yet again the X-Men clash with him. In one of the ensuing battles, he nearly kills the young mutant Kitty Pryde. His own actions shock him -- how could he harm another mutant, one so young? Decades of hard-heartedness suddenly give way to remorse as he breaks away and retires to Asteroid M. He does again intervene in terrestrial affairs, again on the side of the X-Men. He aids them in rescuing Professor Xavier from a deranged group of anti-mutants, the Purifiers, and kills their leader Stryker. He then attempts to persuade Xavier to take up the path of violence, but Xavier, after some hesitation, refuses. Magneto labels the X-Men fools, but returns to his orbital base.
He might have been content to remain there forever. A refugee from alien culture, however, accidentally prevented that: the being that would later be dubbed Warlock crashed right through the base, shattering it. Magneto plummeted to Earth, where he was found by his old friend Lee Forrester. She took him to his abandoned island base, nursed him back to health, fell in love with him. She then left him, but Magneto was, so it seemed, a changed man. He renounced terrorism and turned himself in to the World Court
Xavier attended the trial, and this made the courthouse the target of an unlikely vendetta. The brothers Fenris, heirs to Baron von Strucker, had somehow learned of the role both men had played in defeating HYDRA in Haifa so many years ago. Their attack ended the trial, and severely wounded the Professor. Both mutants leaders escaped, but Xavier had no chance of recovery on Earth. Fortunately he had extraterrestrial friends: Lillandra the Shi'ar arrived with her space pirates to take her lover and save his life. Before Xavier departed, however, he extracted a promise from Magneto to look after the X-Men and his school. Magneto grudgingly accepted, and set off for Westchester.
If Magneto was unsure about taking on this responsibility, the X-Men were even more unsure about letting him. Still, both sides respected Xavier, and made the best of it. Indeed Magneto even came to enjoy his role as Headmaster, governing the X-Mansion alongside Storm, who led the X-Men. Giving peace a chance, he became a stern yet respected figure within the life of the Institute. He also made the acquaintance (or rather reacquaintance, although memories of the earlier event had been expunged by a helpful group of Evolutionaries) of Emma Frost, who helped him ease the trauma of the New Mutants after some sticky business with the Beyonder. But …
Everything changes. The first change came with the Morlock Massacre: the wanton slaughter -- of mutants, by mutants! -- both deeply angered Magneto, and awoke a protective mentality within him. He began trying to put limitations on the activities of the current generation of students, the New Mutants. Having been previously offered a position in the Hellfire Club, he now accepted, becoming the White King alongside Ororo as the White Queen. The idea was to use the Club's resources to protect the school from the Marauders. Things did not work out however. Sebastian Shaw, the Black King and head of the Club; accused Magneto of being incompetent and unable to control the New Mutants. Magneto accused him of being alive, and the two fought. After Magneto won, Shaw threw a temper tantrum and was voted out of the Inner Circle.
Magneto proclaimed himself Grey King, not really caring about the Club's silly chess-based ranks. However, he really had lost control of the New Mutants; they had overheard him saying that he wished to unite the various teams for the upcoming war against humanity. Realising that his path and that of Xavier's followers would never be the same, he sadly gave up on the school, returning to a new Asteroid M that he had built in his spare time. At least he wouldn't have to deal with Hellfire Club idiocy any more.
His last act on Earth (so he imagined) was to deal with Zaladane, a crazy priestess who had the nerve to try and take over the Savage Land Mutates. He allied with several parties to take the upstart out, including Rogue. It seemed as if she developed a crush on him; she cried when he told him, subsequent to putting Zaladane in her place, that they could never be on the same side.
Finally he managed to detach himself from the pointless strife of the planet, and looked forward to settling down on Asteroid M. It was not meant to be. A new team of mutant supremists had formed. Naming themselves the Acolytes, they practically worshipped Magneto and sought him in his space station. Seeing their devotion rekindled his dreams, and he agreed to take them in and lead them to a glorious new age. He proclaimed Asteroid M to be a sovereign mutant nation; predictably, the X-Men took exception to this.
However, this time he was ready for them. He captured the X-Men and locked them away, planning to hold them until they were re-educated to see the truth of his means and goals. Everything would have gone perfectly, … had the former leader of the Acolytes, Fabian Cortez, not proven to be a traitor. Magneto ahd been wounded in the battle, and Cortez's insidious "treatment" was making it worse. Not satisfied, Cortez detonated the nuclear missiles meant to protect the base, damaging it and causing it to fall from orbit.
Somehow, both X-Men and Magneto survived. This set-back did not deter Magneto; he recruited a powerful new lieutenant in the form of Exodus, rallied the Acolytes, and claimed a new station: Graymalkin, former property of Cable. Magneto renovated the derelict and renamed it Avalon as the proper name for a paradise. The United Nations, hearing of his growing power, decided to step in. The world's governments activated the Magneto Protocals, using a network of satellites to create a magnetic force-field that would stop Magneto from using his powers on the Earth or even returning. Only it didn't. Magneto let loose a magnetic pulse that not only destroyed the satellites but scrambled just about every electronic device on the planet.
Cue the X-Men, who still had not learnt their lesson. Pushed past endurance by their constant meddling, Magneto took Wolverine and ripped out his metallic skeleton (thereby proving that adamantium is not invincible). This in turn pushed Xavier over the edge, and he managed to wipe Magneto's mind. The X-Men then left..
Exodus was in charge now. Over the next few months he ran Avalon as regent, but he claimed to carry on conversations with Magneto. Whether he was hallucinating, or whether he really could reach <agneto's mind beyond whatever damage Xavier had done, may never be known. In any event, Avalon too was inevitably destroyed, by the spawn of an alternate dimension Apocalypse who had turned up floating outside (ironically after that Apocalypse had been defeated by that universe's Magneto). The spawn, called Holocaust by his friends, decided he didn't want to be the guest of a comatose Magneto and, after absorbing a few of the station's residents, started a big fight with Exodus. They tore the place about and its orbit destabilized. Once again Magneto survived, this time courtesy of Colossus, who put him in an escape pod.
And once again Magneto would be nursed back to health by a woman with a crush on him. Only this woman was from much farther back in his past: Astra, first member of the Brotherhood, had returned to save her love. How romantic. However she also took a sample of his DNA, which after they parted she would use to grow her own Magneto.
The real Magneto, unaware of the creation of his clone, decided he would teach the X-Men a lesson. Being rather bored with the usual take-over-the-world schemes, he disguised himself as his one-time benefactor Erik the Red and captured a space-craft full of X-Men. He landed it in Antarctica, where he put Gambit on trial for his role in the Morlock Massacre. He finds the Cajun guilty and leaves him and his allies there to think on their misdeeds. Satisfied with this lark, he goes back to planning his conquest, possibly with the X-Men out of his way. Certainly Odekirk was out of his way; Magneto looked him up and killed him for being too free about his secret identity.
So, on with business. Magneto set up some machines that would allow him to seize control of the magnetosphere and enable him to blackmail the world into delivering him whatever he wanted. Enter Astra and her faux Magneto, Joseph Lehnsherr. It seemed his ex-girlfriend did not want him to succeed, and she opposed him with the aid of the clone. Joseph ultimately sacrificed himself to stop Magneto's latest plan, but it was ultimately in vain. The United Nations, smarter than the X-Men, finally realize they were no match for Magneto and caved. In exchange for a non-aggression pact, they offer him the battered, leaderless country of Genosha. Magneto graciously accepted, and adopted the title of Lord of Genosha.
Of course, nothing in life comes easily. The near-fusion with the magnetosphere had thrown his powers into flux; which was bad, because there was a civil war in Genosha. The main agitator was an aptly named Zealot, son of the previous dictator, he wanted to rule himself. Magneto also had to face down Rogue, and even his own son Quicksilver. Despite his handicap, Magneto defeated them all handily: Quicksilver was manipulated into joining his father's cabinet; Rogue left on her own; and Zealot became celebrated as the first Genoshan in space after being encased in a silicate cocoon.
Things were still pretty grim. As if Magneto did not have enough problems, yet another person had designs to ruin his life. It seemed Magneto was one of "the Twelve", saviours of mutantkind, and some fellow calling himself Apocalypse wanted to drain the powers of the Twelve for himself. Too bad for Apocalypse that he failed to do his research: Magneto's powers were too weak for the ancient mutant's energy-absorption machine to handle, and it short-circuited. Magneto then leeched some power from Polaris, another hostage, and trounced the wannabe conqueror, returning to Genosha with Polaris, who developed the notion that Magneto was her father.
That did not stop her from turning on him. Genosha was mostly restored, but there was still a holdout of the rebellion in Carrion Cove. Not only Polaris, but the entire world betrayed Magneto: the United Nations violated their pact by sending in agents to assist the rebels, among them rogue Acolytes and the archtraitor Cortez. As it turned out, there was a machine sequestered near the Cove that could once again restore Magneto to full strength, and they did not want to see that happen.
Tough. Magneto reduced the city, secured the machine, and regained his powers despite them all. Meanwhile, the Legacy Virus, which had afflicted many mutants, was cured. This left many, many mutants, full of strength and bitterness against the world. Magneto united them, and declared war on the member states of the United Nations for their breach of faith. Possibly stronger than ever, the mutants of the world united behind him, Genosha's technology at his disposal: this was his finest hour! … but no. The X-Men showed up.
He had the world at his feet, and Wolverine, obsessed with revenge for his spine, grievously injured the Lord of Genosha. Magneto was this unable to defend his nation as the world tried a desperate counter-offensive, pouring an army of Sentinels into the island. Thanks to the X-Men, Genosha was razed and the dream of a mutant utopia went up in smoke.
Possibly to atone for this mistake, Xavier remained on Genosha with Magneto, helping him pick up what pieces they could of the shattered country. Thus they both missed the Xorn affair. The rest of the world believed Magneto dead, until a crazy healer named Xorn began impersonating him. Xorn was in time put out of his misery, paving the way for the real Magneto to return.
It was not, alas, a triumphant return. Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, Magneto's daughter, had gone out of control, destroying the Avengers in a nervous breakdown. Magneto arrived to claim her, and took her back to Genosha. There Xavier attempted to treat her, but he could barely restrain her. The Master of Magnetism was at a loss; by this time he knew the identities of his children, but there was nothing he could do to help them. His failure towards them bore heavily upon him, mingling with his despair over Genosha.
What brought him out of it was hearing the reports about Weapon. Angered that man who had essentially been running a mutant extermination camp were merely being life in prison, he returned to the United States. He said nothing to Xavier or Wanda, and only told Quicksilver that he was returning to the United States; he did not need their interference, nor did he desire to get his children tangled up in a cause they did not support.
He reassembled some loyal members of the Brotherhood, and through a leak discovered the route John Sublime was to be sublimed. They attacked the convoy, murdering the mastermind behind Weapon. Then Magneto withdraw into space to construct another orbital base, leaving a lieutenant in charge of ground operations. Having captured a new asteroid nad laid the foundations, so to speak, he is now considering a visit to his followers to help them cope with this perplexing incarnation of anti-mutant discrimination.
Classification: Omega.
Powers: - Magnetokinesis: In fine the ability to control magnetic fields. This is most commonly expressed as influence over ferrous objects, but Magneto controls magnetism at the submolecular level, allowing him, with more or less effort, to affect anything. Moreover he can affect the entire electromagnetic spectrum, manipulating electricity, light, X-rays, gamma rays, microwaves … and so on. His power is vast, and when boosted by a machine is enough for him to warp the Earth's crust into a volcano or knock out all electronic devices on Earth through sheer force of will. It is not, however, unlimited strictly speaking, and pushing his powers to the limit will strain and exhaust his body, and possibly lead to a breakdown in his powers as well. Even so, the Master of Magnetism is nobody to tangle with.
- Geomagnetic Link: Magneto has, unconsciously, a link to the Earth's magnetic field. He can feel alterations in it, and can draw on it to strengthen himself: it can even preserve him from death (which might help explain his astonishing survivals).
- Magnetic Enhancement: By channeling his magnetic powers into himself (possibly drawing on the earth's magnetosphere), Magneto can boost his physical attributes to immensely superhuman levels, attaining superstrength of class 100, the durability to take punches from other superstrength individuals without injury, and superspeed and super reflexes of commensurate levels.
- Psychic Resistance: Granted by a combination of the technology in his helmet, his magnetic abilities, and his iron will, Magneto can ignore any telepathic attack or probe, and cannot be detected even by Cerebra. In the past he had even demonstrated some psychic abilities of his own, but they have since disappeared.
Skills:
- Genius: Magneto has an incredible intellect, and knows various disciplines inside and out, allowing him to construct space stations, turn humans into mutates, and construct artificial lifeforms more powerful than himself.
- Polyglot: Magneto is fluent in many languages, including German, Yiddish, Hebrew, Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, English, and Arabic; he has also deciphered the languages of other civilizations.
- Strategist: Magneto has a bit of innate talent and a lot of experience in devising plans and tactics. he is also a mean chess player.
- Military Training: Magneto possesses some skills in hand-to-hand combat, and still occasionally practices -- he has remarkable stamina, agility and strength for his age, even without augmentation.
Weaponry: None.
Role Play Sample: The viewscreens illuminated the Control Room as they displayed the vistas outside the asteroid, shining images of Earth, Moon and stars to mesh upon the floor. Seated below the nearly realistic view of earth a lone man cast his distinctive shadow back across the mosaic. The eyes within the contours of his helmet were fixed on a humbler image: the face of Senator Denisse Bowman.
"Why did you do it?" he muttered. He seated before a monitor bolted to the desk that wrapped around the walls beneath the giant viewscreens. He was leaning forward, frown of concentration on his features, elbows resting to either side of the inset keyboard with his fingers interlaced. "What are you thinking?"
Her profile contained one hint. Her son had attended Xavier's School For the Gifted, and had died under mysterious circumstances. A school that Magneto knew, even if the world did not, taught mutants. So perhaps she had a bone to pick with the X-Men. Or maybe this was some misguided attempt to "protect" mutants. He snorted.
"The only way for mutants to be protected is for us to protect ourselves," he informed her, leaning back in his chair. "By destroying those who would harm us." His fingers tightened against each other, then he sighed.
"I really need to stop talking to myself." He unlaced his fingers and moved a gloved hand to the touchpad, closing the honourable senator's profile. A planetside status report would at least give him someone else to talk to, even if it did not get his mind off of the MRA.

Life was difficult in the unstable Weimar Republic, but the Eisenhardt family was relatively happy. Max would meet a gypsy girl, Magda, at school, and as he matured he developed a crush on her.
