Uniform: Iceman's uniform is pretty much the bare minimum as he doesn't really need one once he ices up. He wears black, leather pants that are form fitting without being skin tight, with the trademark X logo appearing on both thighs. His belt has the standard X buckle. On occasion he adds a black leather jacket as well with Xs on the sleeves up near the shoulder and on the collar. His pants become coated in the ice while the jacket remains just a jacket.
Personality: Bobby Drake does not ever want there to be any questions about what he is feeling. If he's thinking it, the people around him know it. He's comedic, but serious when he needs to be, and doesn't mind getting his hands dirty when he's fighting the bad guys. Bravery comes naturally to Iceman, when facing physical danger as well as facing up to and admitting his own mistakes. However, being so up front with his emotions makes him very susceptible to getting hurt, particularly when it comes to relationships. His openness is often confused for immaturity, making it difficult for people to accept him as an adult. Bobby hides behind this misconception, concealing all his insecurities, and his fear of change.
The MRA put a perpetual bad taste in Bobby's mouth. He spent his entire life fighting for mutant equality, and the government had thrown it all back in his face. He refuses to register, and tries to convince his friends and allies to do the same.

History: Robert Louis Drake was born in Fort Washington, Long Island, New York, as a Jewish, Irish Catholic. As a young teen, his powers began to manifest, but he did his best to keep them hidden so he didn't upset anyone he knew. This worked for a while, but one night, while he was out on a date, a bully approached him and his girl, trying to take the girl for himself. This approach became an attack, and in the end, Bobby temporarily froze the bully in a block of ice to protect her, thus revealing himself to the public. The townspeople, out of combined fear and hatred, formed a mob and began to hunt Bobby down. The sheriff got to him just in time, though, and put in him a cell “for his own good.”
After some time spent in his cell, an explosion took out the back wall. Cyclops entered through the newly made hole, under orders from Professor Xavier to whisk Bobby away to his school for gifted youngsters. This, however, did not go over too well. Cyclops and Bobby ended up getting into a fight, which had to be ended by the professor. Bobby’s parents talked with Xavier and eventually suggested to him that he try the school out, and he finally decides to do so, becoming the second member of the X-Men.
Forever more known as Iceman, Bobby helped the X-Men through many battles before quitting moving on to better things. He moved to the West Coast and attended UCLA, where he helped form a brief crime fighting syndicate called The Champions of Los Angeles. However, the Champions did not last long, and Iceman went back to solo work. As he moved through life, he worked with The Defenders and X-Factor, before rejoining the X-Men. He worked under Storm in the Gold Squadron until his body was taken over by Emma Frost, who used his powers in ways he never could have dreamed. Encounters with the spaceship, Prosh, also gave Bobby a glimpse at his latent potential, and convinced him to rejoin the X-Men another time to learn more about his powers.
Later in life, Iceman’s chest was damaged in battle, and although he was able to reform it, that portion of his body stayed in Ice Form and would not return to flesh. He also went through a period where his entire body had the same problem after he was shattered from the neck down by Azazel and another period where he couldn’t enter his Ice Form at all. Later, Emma Frost tapped into his mind and realized he had unconsciously repressed his powers. This realization led to a greater control over his transformation. During an interlude with Rogue’s team, Iceman hooked up with Mystique, who later betrayed him and his entire team.
Since the passing of the MRA, Bobby has been kept busy with various missions assigned to him by the White Queen.
Classification: Omega
Powers: Thermokinesis: Iceman can actually lower his body temperature from its normal 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit to absolute zero within seconds. He can control both his internal and external body temperature, affecting even the moisture in the air around him, causing it to freeze around his body giving him an “Ice Form.” In addition, because the air around him is so cold, Bobby can see the heat signatures given off by a body.
Cryokinesis: Bobby can freeze any amount of moisture in the air into ice, and form it into any shape he chooses. This ability does not have to be touch, i.e. he can form and shape ice with his mind alone. This ability allows him to not only cover his body with ice, but also actually become organic ice, giving him a translucent appearance. While in this form, Iceman is indestructible. He can reform any part of his body if it is damaged, even if he is in his flesh form when he is hurt. Using extra water molecules from the air around him, he often adds spikes to adorn his shoulders, elbows, fists, knees and head.
Hydrokinesis: Iceman can use surrounding water molecules to augment himself, or travel through water almost instantaneously. He breaks himself down, joins the body of water, and reforms where he wants to go, able to absorb and utilize the water as he sees fit. Through these means, Iceman can grow to colossal sizes, his strength being proportional to his mass. He can also freeze all the water molecules within someone, or separate them and transport them over a distance as a form of teleportation. However, if he decides not to put them back together, he has utterly and effectively destroyed his opponent.
Skills: Bobby Drake is a skilled accountant, and is well versed in multiple styles of hand-to-hand combat. He is a master ice sculptor, and likes to go ice-skating.
Weaponry: Anything he can imagine and form from ice.
Role Play Sample: Finally, familiar territory. Bobby thought as he saw the treeline peak out from behind the horizon. He leaned forward, accelerating along the layer of ice he was forming beneath his feet. It had been ages since he'd been home. Emma had had him out running errand after errand, following one troop of bad guys after another, cleaning up after each new mutant that had popped up anywhere in the eastern hemisphere, and she hadn't even allowed him the use of a Blackbird. With no back up and no provided transportation, Bobby had felt nothing but isolated and abused for a while. Now it seemed that Emma was finally out of reasons to keep him away from home.
As soon as the gates were in sight, Iceman lowered himself to the ground. He took a deep breath and allowed his body to revert to its usual, soft, fleshy self. He punched in his access code and smiled as the metal barrier opened itself to him.
"Honey, I'm home," He muttered under his breath as he stepped inside the compound.
